What Connection do I need for my UPS System?
Systems can be plugged into a common receptacle, receptacle may need to be modified for larger system, and a whole network of users can be "Hardwired" into an electrical panel.
Choosing Input Plug and Receptacle Types
It is common to use Plug and Play UPS Systems up to 6000VA. However your standard 15 Amp Wall outlet has enough power to support 1800VA of UPS.

Ease-of-use
The clean and simple design of the 3S allows you to start backing up your equipment in a few moments. The 3S also integrates automatically with standard power policies in Windows, Mac and Linux through the plug-and-play USB management port (3S550 and 3S750 only).
EcoControl
The 3S manages your energy efficiency for you with EcoControl Master/Control outlets (model 3S750 only). When the item using the Master outlet (e.g., your computer) is idle or shut down, then items using the Control outlets (e.g., printer, scanner, fax) are automatically powered down — rewarding you with up to 30 percent in energy savings over a typical battery backup.
Modern design
The sleek design of the 3S allows you to display it alongside your high-tech equipment for a sophisticated look. This unit can be wall-mounted, desk-mounted or placed on the floor for additional space savings.
Premium protection
The high-efficiency design of the Eaton 3S provides premium power protection for up to 10 devices
Eaton’s free UPS Companion software provides easy configuration and UPS status notifications, while automating graceful shutdown for your computer during a prolonged power outage, preventing data loss.
